If you are interested in doing business with Fort William First Nation, please contact the persons located below. </em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Our Mission:</strong></p> <p><em>We create financial sustainability and independence, contributing to a better way of life for our members.”</em></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Vision:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em> Improve the financial sustainability of our operations by becoming less reliant on external funding, and gain independence by capitalizing on economic opportunities</em></li> <li><em> Become the ‘preferred’ economic partner by developing appropriate plans, infrastructure, and incentives, and simplifying the process of partnering with the First Nation</em></li> <li><em> Actively seek out partnerships and investments that diversify the financial operations of the First Nation and will fulfill the strategic direction in economic development we have set</em></li> <li><em> Engage the First Nation’s individual and business members to create a better informed nation on the subject of economic development and increase participation in our economic development activities</em></li> <li><em> Continue to promote and develop opportunities for our members to obtain career training and obtain quality employment</em></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Key Strategies for the Economic Development Department to Realize its Vision:</strong></p> <p><em>Eight (8) strategies have been identified that will guide Fort William First Nation economic development programming, activities and operations through to the year 2019, and beyond.
